If You Tell: A True Story of Murder, Family Secrets, and the Unbreakable Bond of Sisterhood
Gregg Olsen

A sad reading. The story telling us how much an emotional control & physical abuse can destroy a person, or a group of people.

This is a truth from a family, being abused by the mother (and father in helping). 3 deads. Yes, 3 deads. It's not a story, it's a scary truth about psychos.

The mother - Shelly Knotek is good at being kind yet destroying a person's confident for having a life without her. Abuse, scold, insult, yet she never forget to compliment the person. This is a common game from hunter. Destroy and build, tighten the bonding between.
The victim may struggle, yet would accept the truth that everything will be okie & she should have changed soon. Loop, loop in the misery life again and again.

Some may comments "why don't leave!". Yea, why don't? You never know how helpless are you when you are being bubble wrap by a person that you think they a the whole world for you, leaving will never be the first choice.

The common from these psycho:
1. Control - they likes to control a person, even if expression. everything. Shelly even take away the authority of using the toilet.
2. Insult - verbally insult, declare that he/she is a worthless people, example : you a rubbish.
3. Abuse - physically hurting. MEH. This is too sad to describe. Example a pillow slapping to your head by your bf/gf.
4. Sweet Talk - pacify mood. To gain the "relationship" in between, to let the victim forget about 1-3 points.

Shelly is in the prison at the moment and will be back to society by 2022, next year. When this statement appear, we can feel how close the reality are.

Psycho will never changed, it's their gene, it's their nature. Save yourself.

Quotes:
  • Putting a wall between people allowed her the opportunity to do whatever she wanted. People were game pieces.
