I read this from 12-4am. Because it's just too excited.
Absolom is created by a group of 6 scientist including Dr. Sam. To save Sam and find out the real murderer... Adeline started to engage the 6 scientists because she believe the murderer is among the group. And in the end... Adeline was being sent back to 1984 by Danelie. And Adeline go through her 20 years life since then, and became a best friend to her father & mother.
The story is full of progress, and shocking waves frequently. This is my first time reading Time Travel fiction, and my brain cell is shouting crazily. It's full of thinking to catch up the story progress, and the cause and effect of every action by those characters. It's EXCITED.
Unfortunately every character's characteristic are similar, the habit of not-to-share-info. When Adeline asked questions, instead of telling the answers, they would counter question "think further.. what will happen next?". Damn. ITS SO ANNOYING. CAN YOU JUST SAY THE ANSWER! But yea, I think that's the purpose. Riddle successfully wave reader's emotion. LOL
I rated the book only after I took a good sleep. And I'm struggled. In the end I got it 4/5, because the Time Travel logic does not fit nicely here. It's a great book in terms of progress, but details action contains loopholes. Sorry Riddle, because, I'm a programmer.

Frankly speaking, I actually no longer wanted to consider Riddle's title, since after his "The Atlantis World" series (sorry Riddle). But this book is on Goodreads 2022 ranking.. and is really having outstanding ratings/comments.
