House of Crows
Lisa Unger
The story uncover a person's desired, for wanting something at any cost even hurting their love. The hidden truth brought and revealed only at the very last book. Shock and surprise, impressed and disappointed, by the skill of lying.
The story have 4 starting for 4 main characters in this series. Each of them live as adult with the thrillers story they had on their 16 years old summer. Matthew the smart and kind boy, Ian the follower, Mason the bully and Claire the only lady & group balancer.
In the end, 4 of them are back to the Mansion, the house of crows, to complete the 16-yo summer stories, and reveal the truth of the 2 missing girls.
There is no sense of truth at all until the 50% of 4th book, I getting confuse and struggle that I couldn't link all stories, I don't know what really happening now, and the book is coming to the end. The author finally expose the truth at the very final 50% of this series. I got to admit, the ending caught me surprise. I finish the book at 12am, and I got hang over for few hours. Because I couldn't make my mind for the truth at the end of the story.
The series exposing human greediness. The final book name "Love The Way You Lie", lies, bundle of lies and silence, causing the unfortunate years of few groups of people. :( It's a thrillers category book, and a misery one.
